Ever wanted to design and create your own cocktail? Or are you a master mixologist already with a passion for mixing up little potions?
In the first cocktail competition hosted by Sino, we ask you to create a Day of the Dead themed Cocktail. The winner of this competition will receive a prize of £100 and a lifetime membership card to Sino.
Requirements:
All applicants must be 18 years old or over.
Only one entry per person. Sino reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not qualify to these requirements.
At least one photo of the cocktail and two pieces of writing.
All entries must be submitted by 23:59 on November 2nd (The Day of the Dead).
Entrants must provide a full name and email address.

Theme: The theme is "The Day of the Dead", a Mexican holiday celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November. its full of bright colours, dancing, music and celebration. At Sino we would recommend using culturally appropriate spirits and flavours, think Mezcal, Tequila, bright citrus and spice. Go all out for colour and presentation.
How it works:
From the point you sign up for the competition, entrants will produce one cocktail and submit it to the online competition portal (LINK) before 23:59 on November 2nd. Entrants will also be required to write a short piece about their cocktail, describing why they chose specific ingredients, methods and presentation; and another short piece about themselves, describing their love for mixology.
On the 3rd and 4th of November, all of the entries will be judged by the bar team at Sino, the best will be chosen on these 4 criteria: Presentation, Taste, Method and Story. The best mixologist will be announced on the Sino Instagram account and contacted by the 5th of November. The winner will receive £100 and a Lifetime Membership card to Sino Urban Fashion, loaded with a 20% discount and early access to future releases and opportunies.
Top Tip: The more detail you write about the cocktail the better, the best drinks come with a story.
Homemade ingredients: Please feel encouraged to use homemade ingredients such as syrups, cordials, infusion etc. this is a competition centred around creativity. However recipes to homemade ingredients must be provided in writing so our bartenders can recreate them accurately. Anything that requires more than 48 hours of production time will be difficult to make in the judging period.
Forfeit and retraction of entry:
If, for whatever reason, you wish to forfeit your entry before 23:59 on the 2nd of November, simply email us at Sino Fashion and we will remove your application. You will be able to re enter should you choose.
